Our Doctor

Dr. Harren Chu was born in Taiwan and grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. During her college years, she moved to California and has since been a California resident. She has her B.S,. as well as her Doctors of Optometry, from U.C. Berkeley.

In 1997, Dr. Chu opened her private practice in Fremont, and has since had the privilege of serving her community. She has served on the Alameda Contra-Costa County Optometric Society and participates in the Childrens Vision First, a program that provides free exams to the children of our community. Through the years, Dr. Chu has grown with her patients and finds true enjoyment in the care of her patients. She is honored to have made so many friends, and to have her old patients come back year-after-year.

In her spare time, Dr. Chu likes to spend time with her family, to exercise, and to travel.
